A topographical survey plots and identifies all features, man-made and natural, within the area of the land required.
Man-made features may include things like manholes and drains, lamp posts, fences, and pathways, whereas the natural features would include trees, ponds and hedgerows.
All boundary details are also shown, and your survey will come in 2D and 3D AutoCAD format, along with PDF’s.
We always look for ways to work efficiently, and get the job done on time. Recently, a client approached us needing a topographical survey of a particularly busy stretch of highway.
This client had already received one of our surveys through a mutual project, and this time they contacted us directly for one of their own projects.
The timescale was short – they required the survey to be carried out, with the drawings handed back to them, within one week.
The main difficulty for us was how to safely survey the highway and to complete the job within the time constraints.
However, using the very latest surveying equipment meant we could survey remotely from the verge, thus eliminating the need to walk on the highway at any point. The survey was completed with a day to spare.
